Father's Day

I couldn't ask for a better father for my girls than Scott. So it was fun to get to spend the day thanking him for all he does for us. Here's a bit of our day...

In the afternoon it was 95 degrees with a heat index of 100-105, so what else would we do but head outside to the walk and chalk art festival! The artists all create art with chalk pastels in a sectioned off area at Crown Center. They did some beautiful work! I can't imagine putting that much time and effort into something you know will be washed away next time it rains. Here's a few of my favorites.







What really got Evelyn's attention though, were the fountains. As soon as she saw them we realized we made a mistake by not bringing her swimming suit with us. That didn't stop her though!


Of course that meant daddy got to get a bit wet too!
